Steve Blow: In Memory

This page is in memory of Steve Blow, who passed away on January 13, 2010.

I first got to know Steve when I worked for Progress Software in a corporate development position. Steve was that enthusiastic voice on the other end of the phone calling from the UK who put forth a number of ideas and companies that he thought Progress Software should look at to enhance growth. After a few of these phone calls I encouraged him to drop by my office, when he was in Bedford, so we could chat. He didn't dissapoint. He was as energetic and enthusiastic in person as he was on the phone.

Many years later, when the company I now work for, Strategic Information Technology, was developing a clientele in the UK Steve was a constant cheerleader for our efforts there.

BLOW Steve Sadly passed away on 13 January 2010, aged 54 years. Much loved Husband, Father and Son. The Funeral will be held on Friday 29 January 2010, St. John's Chapel, Oxford Crematorium, at 11.15am. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for 'Rethink', c/o Greens Funeral Services, 21 High Street, Eynsham, Oxford OX29 4HE.
